Good Show - Not Worth The Ticket Price
Bruno Mars and his band put on a good show but it was not worth the amount of money I paid to see it. I thought attending this performance would be a great opportunity to spend time with my daughter, and that doing so would be something memorable. I understand that you cannot bring phones/cameras, but there was no one for hire to take pictures and nothing we could purchase to show that we were there. He has not been around long enough, nor does he have a large enough catalog for this type of nonsense. Funk was around long before he was born and those of us that grew up on it are very familiar with that sound. He does a good job intimating/utilizing the genre but is not unique and doesn't have enough of his own music under his belt to perform alone as we saw. His "band" is a huge part of his act and it should be billed that way so ticket goers know what to expect beforehand. Lastly, the MGM National Harbor Theater/Hotel/Casino is a pretty small venue and the tickets were far too expensive for this place. Will never see another show there again.
